LUMINOUS SKYCEILINGS/ LED SKYLIGHT/ BACKLIT

virtual skylights - photographic illusions of real sky views that trigger beneficial "relaxation
responses" for mind and body. They are modular and can be designed to any rectangular shape, or
arrangement of shapes, defined by the suspended ceiling grid. Luminous SkyCeilings are scalable
- from a single 600x600mm square to as large as you want - easy to install, and work with existing
grid systems.

How to Install LED Panel Lights

Suspended
1. Install the accessories to the panel lights (please contact our salesman for Specification, in
which detailed installation steps are shown.)
2. Use screws to fix the four hanging cables onto the roof. Make sure that the 4 steel cables are
adjusted so that the LED panel is horizontally aligned.

Ceiling-mounted
1. Fasten the clip on the place where the panel light is installed, such as the ceiling;
2. Screw the other clip to the panel;
3. Screw the two clips using M4x8 screws.

Recessed
1. Remove the traditional grid lights;
2. Choose the replacement that fits exactly in the grid;
3. Recess the LED panel light into the grid. (And, in case of falling down, we recommend that
you use screws to fix the four hanging cables onto the roof, as suspending shows above).

Wall-mounted
1. Screw the brackets onto the panel in right position by 4 pieces of M4x8 countersunk head
screws, and make sure they’re tight.
2. Drill a D6mm hole in the ceiling in accordance with the size of the bracket, then put the bulge
plug in. And finally, use the 4×30 countersunk head tapping screws to fasten the panel into the
holes.

Spring clips
1. Put the spring onto the clip;
2. Screw the other side of clip onto panel light through ring.
3. And recess the panel into the hole in the ceiling.

How Rectilinear Luminous SkyCeilings Work

1. Lighting Systems
Standard EcoPlus LED lighting system or low profile EcoSlim LED lighting systems provide
daylight quality light. EcoPlus requires 7.25" (18.5cm) of vertical clearance, and EcoSlim
requires 5.13" (13cm).

2. Image Tiles
Sky Factory Luminous SkyTiles™ are acrylic, high-resolution, photographic reproductions on
acrylic panels that convey the color, scale and perspective of actual sky.

3. Architectural Elevators
Patented Sky Factory Classic SkyTile Elevators™recess SkyTiles above the grid, creating a
robust structural appearance, like a real skylight.

4. Ceiling Grid
Client-provided standard or custom ceiling grid.
