Internal Tests (UG & PG)
• Three tests will be conducted for 40 marks each.
• All the three tests are compulsory.
• Re-test will be conducted after 80th working day for
any one test which the student has missed due to
valid reasons.
• Hence IACC (Internal Assessment Compensation
Committee) remains cancelled.
• Two tests will be conducted per day. Regular classes
will be suspended on the test days.
• FN: 8:30 AM -10:30AM and AN: 4:15 PM-6:15 PM
• Test dates will be incorporated in the Academic
Calendar.
Question Pattern (UG)
• The question paper will consist of two big questions
with adequate subdivisions.

• Each question can be of the following pattern:


• Two questions @1marks each
• Two questions @ 2 marks each
• One big question @ 14 marks
End Semester Exam (UG&PG)

• One compulsory question will be asked from the


syllabi covered from 37th to 45th lectures.

• One common question paper will be used per course


for all internal tests and end semester exam.
Quality Assessment (12 Marks) - UG
• One online test will be conducted per course between
second internal test and the third test.
• The student will have to answer 30 multiple choice
questions in 50 minutes. The test can be conducted
during class hours by booking slots online.
• The mark obtained will be converted to 6.
• Any other component (seminars/ term papers/ poster
presentation/ assignment / hardware etc.) may be
given for the remaining 6 marks.
Attendance Percentage (UG&PG)
• A student should have a minimum of 80% attendance
per course and 80% overall attendance to be able to
appear for the end semester exam. 70% physical
attendance is mandatory for every course.
Special Supplementary Exam for Odd
Semester 2014-15 (UG&PG)
• Students who have more than 80% attendance for lab and
theory courses and 80% overall attendance during the
third semester/first semester in June-November 2014 will
be permitted to appear for special supplementary exam
during June 2015.
• This is a special Supplementary exam applicable only for
courses registered during the Odd Semester 2014-15.
• The students are exempted from paying the exam fees for
the same.
• The students who do not fulfill the above required
attendance criteria, shall re-register for the courses.
• The grading for students will be given after fixing the
marks obtained by them with their original class.
CBCS Malpractice Policy – End Semester
Exam
• In addition to the existing policy, if a student is
involved in any type of malpractice for the first time,
the paper will be cancelled and the student shall be
permitted to appear for supplementary exam of that
course
• If a student is involved more than once – all the
exams taken during the semester will be cancelled
and the student will have to Re-register for all the
courses

• In addition to the existing policy, if a student is

that particular test is cancelled and the student is
awarded 0 marks.
• If a student is involved more than once, all the tests
taken during that internal test series will be cancelled
and the student will be awarded 0 marks for all the
courses.
