    New Delhi, the 13th September, 2000

    G.S.R. 719(E).—In exercise of the powers


    conferred by sub-section (1) and sub-section (2) of section
    22 of the Cable Television Networks (Regulation) Act.
    1995 (7 of 1995). the Central Government hereby rescinds
    the notification of the Ministry of Information and
    Broadcasting bearing G.S.R. 597(E) dated 20th August,
    1999 with immediate effect.
