7.4 - THE ROTOR HUB

In order to fulfil articulation needs (drag, flap, feathering) Metallic stops are bounded on blade to prevent damages.
the rotor shaft ring is fitted with laminated spherical stops The large armature also bears the pitch change lever
whose principle is already known. They receive the "Fork" situated on BLADE TRAILING EDGE SIDE .
shaped attachment of the blades. The fork is secured An elastic drag damper absorbs drag.
onto the large armature of the spherical stop by means of
a spacer, a bolt and a safety pin.

To prevent angular movement of the blade round this

pin, the arms of the fork are embedded in a recess solid
with the large armature.
