 Assisted in a 5th grade classroom for 6 weeks; prepared and implemented lessons to
students in the subjects of social studies, reading and writing.
Castelar Elementary, Omaha Public Schools (OPS), Omaha, NE
 Provided support in a dual language classroom (Spanish & English) for 8 weeks;
prepared and implemented lessons in Spanish and English writing, reading, and
mathematics for 3rd grade students.
 Used strategies learned in English as a Second Language (ESL) courses to adapt lessons
for English and Spanish learners.
 Spanish fluency was required when working in the Spanish dual language classroom.

Advanced Practicum Spring 2017
