UPDATES ON THE SKILLS TRAINING FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL TECHNICAL-VOCATIONAL-

LIVELIHOOD TEACHERS IN COMPUTER SYSTEM SERVICING (CSS: NC-II)

To: Schools Division superintendents

All Others Concerned

1. The skills Training for senior High school Technical-Vocational-Livelihood Teachers in

Computer System Servicing (CSS NC-II) per Regional Memorandum No. 696, s. 2017, dated
November 17, 2017, shall be conducted on March 5-24, 2018. The venue of the Training will
be at the St. Therese Educational Foundation of Tacloban, Inc. (STEFTI) Training and
Assessment Center, Abucay, Tacloban Gty, while the billeting quartegof the participants will
be at the Hotel Consuelo in the same City.

2. The b reakdown of the participants from the schools division offices is qiv en below:

4 Calbayog City 1 11 Samar 1

3. The schools Division offices are required to submit the names of the participants on
or before February 23, 2018 tojoy.bihag@deped.gov.ph. The teacher-participant should have
earned NC-II in Computer Hardware Servicing as a requirement for Computer System Servicing
CSS-NC-II.

4. Participants to this activity who travel or render services on days that fall on weekends
and holidays/special non-working holidays can avail of the Service Credits equivalent to eight
(8) hours of service per day per applicable DepEd/CSC/DBM issuances.

5. There is no registration fee. Training, assessment, board and lodging shall be charged
-
against 2017 Funds for the Implementation of the Redesigned Technical-Vocational High
School Program downloaded to the Region, while travel expenses relative to this training shall
be charged against LOCAL Funds, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and
regulations.

6. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Memorandum are highly
enjoined.
