Spring honorees = Talent Search enrollment + test scores received

between March 1-June 30, 2013; OR between July 1, 2013-February 28, 2014

How do I RSVP?
After receiving an email invitation, login to your MyCTY account and select the tab “Talent Search”, you will
see “Award Ceremony”. You will be able to RSVP to your preferred location from here; maximum number at
most sites, including honoree, is 4. The deadline to RSVP is April 18, 2014. If you miss the deadline, contact:
ctyceremony@jhu.edu MyCTY also includes directions and parking information if available. All students’
names will be printed in the program unless you select “Do Not Print” in MyCTY by 3/28/14.
Are tickets required for the Award Ceremony?
No, your RSVP is your registration to access the event; we will ask you to check in upon arrival at the
ceremony site. We ask how many are attending to better plan the event for capacity management.
When will the student receive his/her certificate?
All High Honors students will receive their certificates in the mail by August 2014.
How long does the actual ceremony last?
Most ceremonies begin at 10 am or 1 pm. Depending on the number of students being honored at the
location, the ceremony will last approximately one hour. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to locate
parking on the campus and to register.
What happens on the day of the ceremony?
Students and their guests will arrive on the college campus, find the building where the CTY ceremony is being
held, check in, and be seated. The ceremony will open with welcome comments and a brief speech for the
honorees. Each student will be called to the stage in alphabetical order to receive his/her pin. At the
conclusion of the ceremony, some sites may have a reception and/or campus tour available.
Is there a dress code?
This is a special occasion to honor our students and we ask that students dress appropriately. If considering a
campus tour, comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
How can I access the press release?
A modifiable press release will be available in MyCTY under “Talent Search” and “Award Ceremony”.
How can I access additional copies of the program?
A PDF format of the program will be available in MyCTY under “Talent Search” and “Award Ceremony”.
