The Basic Education Sector Transformation (BEST) Program is in its final year of
implementation, and one of the strategies of the Program moving forward is to focus and
strengthen interventions at the division and district level to ensure contributions to the attainment
of learning and access outcomes at the school.

In this connection, the BEST Learning and Development (L&D) Team will conduct
interviews and focus-group discussions (FGD) with selected Division personnel, school heads and
teachers from the Divisions of Cebu and Carcar City on September 3-5, 2018. The interviews and
FGDs aim to gather information on the knowledge, attitudes and practices in relation to continuous
professional development at the school level and how this is supported by the division and region.
