Information and Technology Literacy


Program: What will you do in your Media Center? Are you going to implement a book
club? Are you going to continue a collaborative teaching effort with a grade level? Start a new
initiative? Describe an element in your overall media program that you will implement that will
address the performance standard you have chosen.

 I plan to increase the number of information literacy lessons taught for the 2018-2019 school
year.
SMART GOALS/ACTION STEPS: Specifically list the steps, materials, and support you will
need in order for your program to be successful. Make sure you include budget
considerations. Be as specific as you can with your timeline. How will you monitor your
success? Will you gather artifacts? Will you take a survey?

Action Step: Use e-mail to inform teachers of the information literacy lessons that will be
taught.
