strategies in math to subtract up to two-digit numbers. During reading, students will learn about the
life cycles of the butterfly (as well as reading fictional stories about these creatures) in preparation
for our butterfly farm field trip. Our butterflies have entered the chrysalis stage and we are excited
to see them emerge soon. We will continue to record their changes daily as they go through the
process of metamorphosis into a butterfly. Students will also continue to learn about weather this
week in science. Students will record the weather daily to learn about weather patterns. We will
be working on narrative writing that includes a beginning, middle and ending.
