The Social Protection, Health and Family Committee of the
Parliament of the Republic of Moldova presents its highest
considerations and expresses its gratitude for your fruitful activity
as the Representative of the World Health Organization in our
country.
We highly appreciate the contribution of the WHO Country
Office under your leadership, as well as your personal expertise in
strengthening the national health system and improving the public
health in the Republic of Moldova, particularly on the dimensions
pertaining to:

 health system financing and universal coverage with health

services, quality of health services;
 modern approach to the public health system;
 control of non-communicable diseases, by promoting the
legislative package on tobacco control, inclusively;
 setting out of regular dialogues on major health issues and
of health annual conferences;
 strengthening of human resources capacities in the field, etc.

We hope that the projects and actions initiated by you will

have continuity.
