111 Jesus Songs
111 Jesus Songs
Spring 2011
By God’s grace, and because the Holy Spirit has urged us and has also given strength and skill to do the work, we have the goal
of getting a much larger collection of good music together that we can all use to teach our children, our neighbors’ children, and
the children of this entire world. With these materials, we teach music at the same time that we teach children about Jesus and
his Word.
Jesus died for our sins and wants to gather all his children home to heaven with him! May he take us there soon!
And so here are gathered 60 songs to begin teaching very young children with. The songs are simple. The English language is
emphasized, and what works well to persuade with the English language is emphasized. However, in this starter booklet there
are not many songs with instrumental parts, unfortunately.
This is a workbook. Thus, it contains not much in terms of breath marks, crescendos, decrescendos, and the like. It is meant to
be written in, and worked on. Those kinds of things can be assigned.
All the songs in this book are public domain and you can freely make copies and/or use them as you wish.
May God bless you! Dear Lord Jesus, come, take us home!
