PLEASE NOTE: If you want to sign your 1st, 3rd, 4th or 5th grade child up for the CogAT Potential Ability Assessment, you need to
sign up via the Magnet Eligible Nomination Form on the department’s website at http://gt.dpsk12.org/ . Yes, even if you are planning
to attend Steck, this is the only way to sign up for the CogAT.

All Kindergarten and 2nd grade students will take the NNAT Potential Ability Assessment this October unless you choose to OPT-
OUT. If so, please contact me so I can be sure to get you the Opt-Out Form to complete.
