Arabian & Arabian Derivatives – Minimum Standard Schedule A & P Shows

(This standard schedule is split into Led & Ridden. Shows which have the local support for both a led
and ridden set of classes will be able to stage the full schedule as listed and may add additional
classes as local support requires.

Shows that traditionally only attract led or ridden entries may stage one or the other).

Only Purebred, Anglo Arabian or Derivative Arabian horses with a minimum of 12.5% Arabian blood
that are registered with the New Zealand Arab Horse Breeders Society (Inc.) are eligible to compete in
these classes.

Where necessary classes may be combined.

Note: Proof of Registration, (a photocopy of the registration certificate must accompany the entry form),
and must be produced on show day if requested by the steward.

All classes are conducted under the NZAHBS Rules for Judging and Showing Arabian Horses in
conjunction with the RAS Rules, Regulations and By-laws.

Judging:

a) Purebred Halter; The Judge must be on the NZAHBS Judges List, the RAS list of judges (endorsed
as an Arabian Judge) or on a recognised International Panel of Arabian Judges

b) Performance Classes; Judges appointed to adjudicate within this section must be accredited for the
classes they are set to judge. An RAS listed A & P Judge is suitable for general classes where breed
type is not a factor.

To be judged from the led champions within the section, however this award is only to be offered if a
representative from this section is required to go forward for an all breeds Supreme of Show
