The original inspiration for this song is a traditional celebratory song from the region of Sindh..
“Ho Jamalo” translates to “Oh the beautiful”. Singer 1 and Singer 2 wrote these lyrics to
celebrate the beauty of Canada.

Singer 1 sings the first part of the song, as well as the very last phrases, in Sindhi. Singer 2 is
singing the part in the middle in Barnu, a nomadic language used in Sudan, Niger, Delta and
area
