Delridge Way SW: 10% Design

We’re working to redesign Delridge Way SW to balance the needs of everyone who
uses the corridor, whether they’re on a bus, in a car, walking, or riding a bike.

This project includes:

Transit • Bus lanes
• Landscaped medians
• Crosswalk improvements
• Protected bike lanes and neighborhood
greenway connections
• Signal upgrades
• Paving, water and sewer pipe upgrades
• Spot parking and bike lane removal,
New bus lanes New RapidRide bus stations

We’re planning to pave between the West

Fix potholes and Seattle Bridge and Sylvan Way SW and to
bad pavement make minor repairs in the rest of the corridor

We’re adding bus only lanes

Make buses faster and bus signals to keep buses
and more frequent on time and out of traffic

We’re adding about

Reduce speeding and 2 miles of landscaped
create a neighborhood feel median islands and
new public art

We value the bus We’ve worked with Metro to have

connector apart instead of 1/2 mile apart

Delridge Way SW: 10% Design

The Office of Arts & Culture

(ARTS), in partnership
with Seattle Department
of Transportation (SDOT),
selected artists Ene
Osteraas-Constable and Scott
Constable of Studio Wowhaus
to create a permanent, site-
specific artwork as part of
the corridor improvements
planned for Delridge Way SW.

As part of their artistic

process, artists Ene
Osteraas-Constable and
Scott Constable have been
out in the community,
collecting feedback from
residents through a variety of
community conversations and
walks along the corridor.

We’ll share more about

the final artwork on the
RapidRide H Line website.
