DM 2011: FOR THE KIDS & BEYOND!

THIS YEAR’S THEME HOPES TO BRING OUT
THE KID IN YOU
This year, Dance Marathon
revealed its theme as the closing event for
FIU’s Week of Welcome. With the saying,
“DM For the Kids & Beyond!” this year’s
Dance Marathon hopes to bring out the
kid in everyone with the theme of “Toy
Story 3.” Dance Marathon will take place
from January 29-30, 2011 in FIU’s
Recreation Center from Saturday 12 p.m.
until Sunday 1 p.m. This year’s, we would
like to surpass our total of $136,000 from
last year’s Dr. Seuss-themed Dance
Marathon.
As always, we will be hosting many
activities for all participants including our
line dance and all night blackout party.
We will also be hosting an Alumni Spirit
Hour on Sunday, January 30 from 11 a.m.
to 12 p.m. where you will be our guest of
honor, so make sure you save the date
since we will love to see all of our alumni
there. You don’t want to miss out on all
the great activities and silent auction
items we will have.
