The appointment is full time and recognises your entitlement as a provisionally registered teacher to a 0.8 teaching load. The reason for your employment being fixed term in nature is due to a permanent staff member taking study leave for Terms III and IV in 2018. Terms and Conditions of Employment The work to be undertaken is covered by the Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement (CA), is available from www.nzsta.org.nz (Resources/Board as Employer/Employment Agreements/Secondary Teachers’ Collective Agreement - STCA). The CA covers the work that you will undertake and applies to employees who are or become members of NZPPTA. If you are already a member of NZPPTA the CA applies to you directly from the date of appointment.
