Dear Parents and Guardians of Sally Trickett’s

My name is Grady Bryant. I am 23 years old and in my fourth year at

Charles Sturt University studying a Bachelor of Education in K-12. Over
the next six weeks I will be part of Mrs Trickett’s classroom and during
this time I hope to build strong, professional relationships with both you
and your child.

I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself.
I have a passion for football and have played since I was 4 years old. I
have also taught at numerous Auskick clinics since I was 13 and am
hoping these experiences will assist in furthering my teaching practices
throughout this placement.

During my studies I have focused on open and inquiry based learning,

developing lessons and activities that encourage student participation and
collaboration in a safe learning environment. I am also aware that all
children learn at different stages, which is why I will endeavour to support
and cater for the individual learning needs of your child to ensure they
obtain a sense of achievement.

I am excited about my career as a teacher and do not see it as a job, but a

passion in my life and look forward to meeting and getting to know you
and your child. I am an approachable person and will always give my best
to make school a positive place for your child.

Finally, I would like to emphasise that I will do my best to make the next
six weeks positive and full of enjoyment with smiling faces and people
working together, to ensure that your children gain the most from my
presence in their education. If you have any questions or concerns I
encourage you to come and discuss them with me as soon as they arise. I
will give my all to providing a positive and safe learning experience for
your child’s overall education and well being.

Best wishes
