Brief Description:
Manufacture of 12 Air Cooled Package Units to be installed on 6 gas turbine power generation modules in the
Upper Zakum 750 field. Units are suitable for ATEX Zone 2 and certified by a Notified Body.
Final installation is offshore, in highly corrosive atmosphere.

Main characteristics:
▪ Custom made hermetic scroll compressors, with II 3G type certificate issued by a Notified Body;
▪ Outdoor installation with extreme ambient conditions: -10 / +52 °C, with high level of H 2S presence;
▪ Anti-sparks axial fans, driven by project approved ABB motors provided of special features (ISO C5 -M
paint cycle, IP 56, high operation temperatures);
▪ Finned pack heat exchangers with copper tubes, copper fins, brass frame, tinned after construction;
▪ Copper pipes protected against corrosion;
▪ Unit base frame, casing and panels in AISI 316L, painted against corrosion as per project specification;
▪ Cable trays made in antistatic GRP;
▪ AISI 316 instruments tubing and manifolds;
▪ SIL certified high pressure cut-out loop;
▪ Full compliance with project specs;
▪ Voluntary third party certification by Notified Body II 3G IIB T3.
