I. Rationale:

The Department of Education (DepEd), in coordination with the National Teachers

Day Coordinating Council (NTDCC) and the National Teachers Month Coordinating
Council (NTMCC), will celebrate the National Teachers Month (NTM) on September
5 to October 5, 2018 being observed as the National Teacherd Day (NTD) and World
Teachers’ Day (WTD). This year theme is Gurong Pilipino: Turo Mo, Kinabukasan
 Ko. On October 5, 2018, school-based celebrations, including the recitation of A
Prayer for Teachers shall be observed

II. Objectives:

a. honor those who are in the teaching profession;

b. acknowledge and give emphasis on the crucial role, loyal service, and dedicated
commitment of teachers in developing globally minded citizens, nurturing
families, strengthening communities and building nation;
c. revitalize the image of and respect for teaching as a vocation by increasing public
awareness on the value of teachers in the Philippine society;
d. take the occasion as an opportunity in the building the image of teaching as an
attractive and fulfilling profession;
e. generate widespread support and assistance for teachers; and
f. express gratitude for the positive influences of teachers on the Filipino learners.

III. Methodology:

In order to attain the objectives, the methods must be observed:

IV. Assumptions:

The following schedule of activites was approved by the majority of the SSG Officers
during the regular meeting last September 2, 2018 at 3 pm.

b. Breakdown:
Tokens and Flowers ( 76 pax x 70) = P5,3200.00
Decorations and Certificate= P 800.00
Other operating expenses= P1,000.00
Total= P7,120.00

VI. Expected Output/s:

a. Successfully implemented the design school-based activities and plan of Teachers

Month Celeberation.
b. Meet the above mentioned objectives
