1. All vendors are technically acceptable.

However, the quoted rates are very high (more than


double) in comparison with the rates of manpower provided for FPCL project by M/s SGS in
2015 against PO # 4591500030.
2. Based on limited budget available for the subject job, following job scope may be offered to
the bidders:

3. Tank inspector’s responsibility shall be as per job scope in RFQ including:


a. Witness, coordinate, supervise and report all inspection and testing activities related to
the mechanical integrity of tank as specified in quality inspection plan (QIP)
b. issuing of non-conformity(NC) reports in case of any non-compliance by the construction
contractor against the code and standards
c. review/signing of all NDT reports such as visual inspection, DPT, MPT, UT, RT, Leak
testing, Dry film thickness tests, etc
d. detailed record keeping / traceability of NDT reports with field fabrication and necessary
logging of fabrication work in weld summary sheets (if required)
4. Lodging and messing terms and conditions may be agreed with the vendor by S&C.
5. Signed quality inspection plan (QIP) is also annexed for forwarding to the vendor.
