Great days begin with NESCAFÉ®

In 1930, Nestlé was approached by the Brazilian Coffee Institute to seek a

way to preserve the huge coffee surpluses. Nestlé took up the challenge and 7
years later, succeeded in producing the world's first fully soluble coffee
extract. In 1938, NESCAFÉ® was launched in Switzerland in powdered form,
packaged in tins and available in both regular and decaffeinated varieties.
NESCAFÉ® made its way to Malaysia in the late 1950s and has since
established itself as the leading instant coffee brand in Malaysia. The local
production of NESCAFÉ® Classic commenced in 1987 at the Raja Muda
factory, Shah Alam.

How is NESCAFÉ® made?

The convenience of enjoying a great cup of coffee – that’s the advantage

1. It begins with the selection of the finest coffee beans followed

by blending of the beans.
2. After blending, the beans are roasted to the right temperature to
achieve the desired taste and aroma profile.
3. Next, the beans undergo grinding before extraction takes place.
4. The coffee extraction will then go through an evaporation
process
5. A spray drying process turns it to the powder form which
dissolves instantly in water to make a satisfying cup of
NESCAFÉ®.
