This article points out the idea on the benefits of walking where it can enhance overall health
by apply it in their daily lifestyle. Besides, the author highlighted that by walking it can longer
a person lifespan.
Next the benefits of walking also can help to improve almost the entire body system
such as joint and heart health, muscle strength and mobility can be improved tremendously
by walking. Besides, it can help to delay the aging process due to active and fit lifestyle.
Based on the researcher findings, Carson, walk for a few miles a day can reduce the
chances whose severe episode of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease from been
hospitalized.
By walking daily, the risk of stroke can decreased in the age of 50. Furthermore,
walking activities also can enhances the muscle strength, refine the blood circulation and
decrease the incidence of physical disability in the age above 65 and it based on the
Richmond’s studies.
The author stated that brisk walking can help to overcome the problem of loss memory
and the ability to concentrate. Based on the study published by Ross and Kendell in
Neurology, they agree that walking can help the senior citizen in improving their memory and
concentration.
In addition, walking also contribute to the overall mood of an individual as it assist to
boost endorphins in the brain and it can be obtain by walking for a half an hour per day. It can
lift mood and fight depressive symptoms to accomplish their daily task more effectively.
