WHERE IS GREECE?
Greece is a small country in Southern Europe.
 Greece is located at the crossroads of Europe, Asia, and Africa.
The Aegean Sea lies to the east of the mainland, the Ionian Sea to the
west, the Cretan Sea and the Mediterranean Sea to the south.

THE FLAGS STORY

• The national flag of Greece, popularly referred to as


the "sky-blue-white" or the "blue-white“
• The cross symbolises Greek Orthodox Christianity,
the established religion of the Greek people
• The nine stripes represent the nine syllables of the
phrase "Ελευθερία ή Θάνατος" ("Freedom or
Death").
