Dear Mayor Torres,

Greetings!

This in reference to the implementation of the Performance Challenge

Fund (PCF) Program of the Department.

The Department of the Interior and Local Government has been

implementing Performance Challenge Fund (PCF): Incentivizing Good
Governance since 2010. The project is a performance-based reform
program of the DILG that seeks to encourage the convergence of local
development initiatives with national development agenda and priorities. It
is an incentive given to eligible LGUs which passed the Seal of Good Local
Governance Performance Management program of the Department for the
implementation of local development project.

With this, the Department, thru Bureau of Local Government

Development (BLGD) and the PubHe Affairs and Communications Service
(PACS), will conduct an activity with the theme. "Sharing of Best
Practices on Good Local Governance: A Performance Challenge
Fund (PCF) Summit" where LGU Recipients shall share their best
practices in the implementation of their PCF projects. Further, the activity
will showcase the best PCF projects through a photo exhibit and will also
serve as an avenue to recognize the best performing PCF teams nationwide.

A total of Two Hundred Fifteen (215} participants will join this

activity composed of the following: Central and Regional PCF Management
Teams, Local Chief Executives (LCEs) of consistent SGLG Passer LGUs,
Representative from various stakeholdru-s and media practitionru-s. -

 In view of this, may we invite you ( or any duly assigned
representative) to attend this significant event on November 8, io1s
(S:00 AM-5:00 PM) at Sulo Riviera Hotel, Matalino St., Diliman,
Quezon City. We have allocated one (1) slot for your LGU . Participants are
suggested to wear a Filipino attire : Barong for men and Filipiniana/
Terno for women .

Please be advised that room accommodation ( either triple or twin-

sharing bedrooms) will be provided during the event. Participants are
expected to check- in at the event at 2 :00 PM, November 7, 2018 and
check-out at 10 :00 AM , November 9, 2018 .

Please submit the name of confirmed participant form your office

using the attached confirmation slip not later than October 22, 2018
(Monday) through DILG Provincial Office and concerned MLGOO.
