MODERATE RESISTANCE: INFINITY™, FIBERFORM™ SOFT, REBOUND™, COLOURS™ provides a moderate

amount of resistance bridging the gap between a conforming material while resisting fingerprints and
having a controlled stretch. Recommended for hand splints, finger splints, elbow splints, splints for
spasticity and neck collars.
MAXIMUM RESISTANCE: FIBERFORM™ STIFF, MARQUE-EASY™ provides the maximum resistance to stretch.

EXCEL ™
Remington Medical’s most CONFORMABLE splinting material
EXCEL™ features a “plastic” formulation for superb moulding
with a high degree of rigidity. Your splints will form with
intricate fit and definition with controlled stretch.
Colour: Oyster.
EXCEL™ has a special coating on both surfaces to prevent
accidental sticking. Permanent bonds can be achieved using
a heat gun, scraping the surface or with a bonding solvent.
Recommended for all types of hand, finger and wrist splints,
adaptive equipment and face masks.

Canadian therapists have preferred INFINITY’s™ combination
of plastic and rubber-like characteristics for more than 20 years.
INFINITY™ is a material with the perfect balance between
resistance to stretch and drape. INFINITY’s™ is an all around
easy to use material conforming where you need it to but does
not over stretch. This blend allows for a true versatile material

REBOUND™
The material with 100% MEMORY that allows you to reheat the material many times
for easy splint revisions
FEATURES:
• Transparent when heated to provide therapist a clear view
of any pressure areas.

easy splint identification.

• Three thicknesses - 1/16”, 3/32” and 1/8”.
• Available in solid, 1%, 13%, 19% 36%, 38% and 42%
perforations for varying degree of ventilation and weight.
• 13% and 19% micro perforation in 1/16” (1.6 mm)
thickness makes an excellent light weight and breathable
material for thumb or wrist splints without compromising
rigidity. Great for the arthritic hand where weight and
bulkiness is a concern.
• Coated material does not require lotion on the client or
treating the heat bath.
“Wrap and Tack” splinting technique

Coated sheet surface to avoid accidental bonding but
provides enough tack to hold a temporary bond for the
“wrap and tack” splinting technique. Press the surfaces
of REBOUND™ together and when cooled, the bond
can be popped apart. Great for elbow splints or for any
circumferential splints. Permanent bond can be achieved by
distressing the surfaces or with a bonding solvent.
Recommended for all upper and lower extremity splinting

settings. Both Splint-Form™ 1000 and 2000 Heating Pans warm

STATIC PROGRESSIVE SERRATED HINGE KITS

Serrated teeth allow these hinges to be locked into virtually any position
• Hinge arms are made of durable, 1/8” (3.2 mm) thick aluminium attached to a plastic joint with serrated interlocking teeth.
Arms are shaped to accommodate most wrist and elbow anatomy and can be bent by hand for custom fitting.
• Ideal for neurological and post-operative use to help reduce joint contractures of the wrist and elbow. Great for protective
joint positioning, serial splinting, fracture bracing, post-cast removal and post-elbow or wrist arthoplasty.
• Kits include all the necessary nuts and screws for mounting the joint arms onto thermoplastic splints. A hex wrench is
included for easy joint release and tightening for R.O.M. positional changes. The only other tools required to make a custom
splint are a screwdriver and a hole punch/drill.
• Thermoplastics sold separately. It is recommended 1/8” (3.2 mm) thick splinting material to be used as the base splint for
effective construction using unique hinges.
