COLOURS ™
The perfect bridge between plastic and rubber like material
COLOURS™ provides a bridge between the handling
characteristics of plastic/rubber-like and rubber types of
splinting materials. COLOURS™ allows for reheating,
reshaping and remoulding. The rigidity of the material
indicates that reinforcing is not required. The proprietary
textured surface and matching coating, combined with
the properties of the material, provide for an aesthetically
pleasing splint without fingerprints and marks.
COLOURS™ has a special coating on the surfaces to prevent
accidental sticking. Permanent bonds can be achieved using
a heat gun, scraping the surface or with a bonding solvent.
Recommended for:

ORFIT DRAPE NS ®
ORFIT® Drape is the most conforming splinting material in the Orfit® product line.
Features excellent drape for an intimate fit with minimal handling during gravity assisted
moulding, self-sealing edges, and no recoil when reheated. Coating prevents accidental
bonding. ORFIT® Drape is both a strong and rigid material making it a great material for
all upper extremity splinting. Colour: White
Recommended for: all hand, finger and wrist splints or any other splints where a high
degree of drape and strength is required.
ORFILIGHT™
ORFILIGHT™ is 30 to 40% lighter in weight than traditional splinting materials. It is so light it floats in water. This weight
reduction makes ORFILIGHT™ great for any splints where weight is a concern. The slight tacky surface helps keep the material
in place when moulding. Dry heat will produce a permanent bond. ORFILIGHT™ features 100% memory, self-sealing edges
and resists fingerprints. Both sides must be heated in the hot water bath. Colour: Light Beige.
Recommended for: Upper extremity splinting especially thumb splints, rheumatology, geriatric, and pediatric splinting.
