Sweat gland disease

Fox-Fordyce disease is a chronic blockage of the sweat gland ducts with a


secondary,non-bacterial inflammatory response to the secretions and cellular
debris in the cysts.

Miliaria (sweat rash) is a skin disease marked by small and itchy rashes.Miliaria
occurs when the sweat gland ducts clogged due to dead skin cells or bacteria asuch
as Staphylococcus epidermidis, a common bacterium that occurs on the skin which is
also associated with acne.

Hypohidrosis is diminished sweating in response to appropriate stimuli

Gustatory sweating

Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally by abnormally increased


sweating, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature.

Hidradenitis suppurativa is a chronic cutaneous condition originally thought to be


primarily suppurative inflammation of the apocrine sweat glands.
