Upcoming Events
Dear Parents, October 19

For those that would like to help us celebrate the life of Ms. J, End of First Grading Period
services will be held this Saturday, October 27 at 3:00pm in the
October 29
church. This time will be followed by a reception or repass in the
school gym. The school is looking to create a memorial for Ms. J. 9/10 Young Life @ 6:30 pm
Anyone that is willing to lend a hand please let the office know so
we can start creating a list of contacts. November 4

5th/6th Grade Outdoor Education K-10 Kids Night Out @ 7:00 pm

We had a meeting Thursday, October 11th, about the upcoming “Outdoor November 16
Education.” If you did not make this meeting Ms. Penno sent out details via
email yesterday morning about the trip. Permission forms need to be returned Reading Buddies; Thanksgiving
ASAP. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Penno. Banquet

Hurricane Michael Victims; Bring in one can of food! November 16

It was not that long ago that we experienced Charley and we had many come to Half Day; No Afterschool Care
our aide very quickly. There is a box in the front, main hall of the school. We
are asking for donations for those that are suffering from the destruction caused
by hurricane Michael. More information is attached below. We would like to
help by having each student bring in one can of food! If you can help with Important
anything else like toothpaste, soap, ect.. it would be appreciated. Please bring Tardies
in for this Monday. Tardies have become
increasingly excessive. School
ALL Parents Donations Needed starts promptly at 8:00 am. It
is very disruptive to the class
Thank you to all those that have donated materials thus far. We now have when students arrive
plenty of bags to start creating our “Blessing Bags” for the homeless. We are consistently late; and it is very
still in need of donations such as deodorant, bar soap, socks, toothbrushes, important to maintain proper
toothpaste, blankets, brushes, ETC... Anything will be helpful and greatly attendance for your step-up to
appreciated. A bin will be provided for drop-off in the Principals office. Thank not be affected. Please make

Our school and church have teamed together to bring you our next “Kid’s 3rd & 4th Grade

The whole school is invited to participate in our reading buddies Martinez, Theresa:
Thanksgiving Banquet. This will take place on Friday, November 16th which Principal & Grades 5-10
is a half day. We will need a count of how many students will be
purchasing lunch that day since we normally do not serve lunch. Students (941) 920-8639;

October 31st. We need to have a form returned for each student whether Penno, Kaitlyn:

Friday, November 16th is a half day schedule before Thanksgiving Break.
Please be aware that there is no afterschool care; so, you will need to
plan accordingly to have your child picked up by 12:00 noon
