Araw Bag
(Sun and
Pineapple;
Araw at Pinya)
Inspired by the rays of the sun and golden
pineapples, a polished brass crown translates
the sun as a golden accent of the piece. The
piece also showcases the local “banig” weave to
recreate pineapple diamond-shaped details.

A lower compartment of the backpack can be

your shoe’s next home for your travels, made
from locally made abaca weave exclusively
designed by our
partner weavers in Bicol region--- a piece to
store your beach essentials and maybe your
school books as well.
Inspired by the Red Vented Cockatoo of the Philip-
pines, the bag creates an abstract take on the colors
and features of the animal to create an interesting

yellow banig as accents. The red tassle made from ab-
aca jute takes centerstage as a flap to finish the look.
