University of Kuningan.

The background of this research is the low of student learning result of SD Negeri
Sindangsari. This is indicated by the existence of students who have not reached
KKM that is equal to 70. This study aims to determine whether the results of
learning on the final measurement (posttest) using the method of learning that is
higher experiment learning method than the final measurement (posttest) without
using experimental methods, whether there is an increase (gain) student learning
outcomes between students who get experimental method with final measurement
(posttest) without using experimental methods. The method used in this study is a
quasi experimental method conducted on grade V students of SD Negeri
Sindangsari, which consists of experimental class and control class with the number
of each class of 20 students V A and 20 students of grade V B. The research data
obtained through written test (pre-test and post-test). The data analysis technique
used are t-test manually using Microsoft Excel. From the data processing, obtained
the average value of pre-test in the experimental class of 41.15 lower than the
average value of pre-test in the control class of 42.95 and still in the homogeneous
stage. The average value of the post-test on the experimental class of 83 is higher
than the average value average values obtained pre-test the experimental class at
41.15 is lower than the average value of the pre-test the control class is 42.95 and
still in a homogeneous phase. The average value of the post-test on the experimental
class of 83 is higher than the average value average values obtained pre-test the
experimental class at 41.15 is lower than the average value of the pre-test the control
class is 42.95 and is still in a homogeneous phase. The average post-test value in
the experimental class was 83 higher than the mean post-test grade in the control
class of 71.5 means that the results of the post-test experimental class using the
experimental method is better than the final test (post-test) control classes without
using the experimental method. There is also an increase (gain) the results of student
learning using the experimental method derived N-Gain value of 0.7096 whereas
without the use of the experimental method amounted to 0.4971.

The underlying problem of this research is the low of student learning result of SD

not Reached KKM that is equal to 70. This study aims to Determine Whether the

(gain) of student learning outcomes between students who get experimental
methods with the final measurement (post-test) without using experimental

done to grade V students of SD Negeri Sindangsari the which consists of

control class without using the experimental method.
