Title of Project: “Does variation occur in the dinB gene during stress adaptation?”

Duration: For one year.

Essential Qualifications: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science with NET qualification or
Graduate Degree in Professional Course with NET qualification. Practical knowledge of
microbiology assays, protein purification and biochemical assays is required.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of Molecular Biology and Research Experience in

enzymes involved in processing of Nucleic Acids.

Principal investigator: Dr. Deepak T. Nair, Associate Professor.

Senior Research Fellowship: Rs. 25,000/- plus 30% HRA per month
