Research Question

This study shows a how the kinship in Rural and Urban area contrast each other. Also, this
study will also define how families in Rural areas are different from that in Urban Cities.

Research Objective
1. To understand how kinship has changed in india over the period of time and at what
rate.
2. To compare kinship in Urban and Rural areas.
3. To explain why there is a difference of kinship in these areas.
4. To address how the family system in india has changed as well.

Literature Review
​During the last few decades a lot of research has been conducted about how rural and urban
areas are different in terms of kinship.
Taking K.M. Kapadia’s( 1958) research in account, she says,”
