My Choice
I am Gito. My full name is Gito Syahril Fajar. I remember (Simple Present Tense) the day
when my first time went to school. When after school, I am stand in front of the school gate to
wait my mother (Simple Present Tense). I am waiting for my mother pick me up (Present
Continuous Tense), but she never came. I kept (Simple Past Tense) on waiting, waiting, and
waiting. And then my teacher came to offer me a ride. When I arrived at home my mother was
preparing to pick me up. She didn't know that I was home early. And since that incident for the
first week my mother was always on time to pick me up. After one week, I decided to use a bicycle.
Because I want to be independent. Fourteen years passed since that day. Now I am a teenager, I
am 20 years old. And now, I am studying at Yogyakarta State University in the field of
electrical engineering. (Present Continuous Tense) I come from Banjarmasin and now I live in
Yogyakarta. All I do because I want to be independent and seek experience. Next year I will
graduate from college (Simple Future Tense). I hope to graduate less than three years and with
the title "cumlaude". And of course I will graduate with my classmates (Simple Future Tense).
After that I want to go back to Banjarmasin to work in the city of birth. But, besides that I want to
continue study in college and get a bachelor's degree. Every day I promise myself that I will
never forget my choice (Simple Future Tense). Until I am successful someday.
