won numerous awards, including the
Golden Heart, the Maggie, and the 1996
National Reader's Choice award.[2]

Biography
Hannah was born in California. She
graduated from law school in
Washington and practiced law in Seattle
before becoming a full-time writer. She
currently lives on Bainbridge Island,
Washington,[3] with her husband and their
son.
