[CUTS TO PICTURES OF  YOUNG PEOPLE SHOWING  AFFECTION TO EACH OTHER  ]

Voiceover

For over a period of years sex and young people have been a growing issue all
around the UK. In 2008 the NHS survey national statistics show that 57% of young
people between the age of 16-19 were having unprotected sex. In 2009 it was seen
that 47% of young people between the age of 13-15 are sexually active and are
either not using contraception or not using it right. Is this because they have been
led astray by their peers or have these young people not been receiving
contraception advice and information early enough? So the question we need to ask
ourselves is 'Young people and Contraception- is it right?'

[CLOSE UP SHOT OF THE YPF LOGO IS SHOWN]

Voiceover

Sex is becoming very popular amongst young people between the age of 13-15 as
the years go on. Why is there a rapid increase in teenage pregnancy and teenage
abortion? Is it because they are being exposed to information about contraception at
an early age, which may enable them to gain ideas or is it something the British
society will just have to sit back and watch.

Vicar/Pastor

What are your opinions on young people between the age of 13-15 receiving advice
and information on contraception or actual contraception?

[FADES INTO CUTAWAYS OF OUTSIDE THE CHURCH AND THE CHURCH CROSS]

Voiceover

There are different views and opinions on young people and contraception, some
people argue that it is wrong that young people between the age of 13 and 15
should not be exposed to such information at an early age, however some people
argue that young people of that age should be receiving contraception and advice on
it, as if they do think of ever having sexual intercourse they would be fully aware of
how to use and the consequences of not using it, another issue is if it is morally
wrong? as some religions such as Christianity and Islamic faith believe in no sex
before marriage so anything surrounding the subject is for bided.
