Dear Fr. August:

Greetings of Peace!

In 2019, St. Joseph Parish Mixed Choir (under the present tutelage of Bro. Melvin Barrantes) will be
celebrating our 25th year of service in the parish. Strengthened by faith and commitment to sing for
the Lord, we are blessed to have withstood the test of time and of division.

Years of succeeding generations unfolded and the “new millenials” have recently joined our group
to augment the membership of the “existing centennials”. Given this scenario, we have observed the
absence of “God-discovery” and “self-discovery” as we commit ourselves in the Sunday Liturgical
celebrations and cultural/musical events in the parish. Consequently, we felt the urgent need for a
“light formation” following the attached program gyst.

In this light, may we humbly request your permission for the use of SJP’s Conference Room and
Azotea as venues for Mixed Choir’s 1-day formation in any of these dates - August 25 (Saturday),
September 15, 23 or 29 (Saturday)? We would sincerely appreciate if you can conclude our
formation day with a group mass in any of the selected dates (if your time would permit).

Your much “sought-after” approval of our request would definitely inspire us to pursue our choral
goals for the fulfillment of our “prophetic mission” as choristers.
