Virginia Repertory Dance Company: James Madison University’s pre-professional


performing company. The company works with well-known guest choreographers and
faculty members to create work for a main-stage show every fall. The company also travels
throughout Virginia and performs at different venues during the spring.

Contemporary Dance Ensemble: James Madison University’s major performance


ensemble. This ensemble provides members the opportunity to perform and choreograph
for a main-stage show in the spring.

Associate Dance Ensemble: James Madison University’s freshman dance ensemble. This
ensemble is a way to assure that each student has a guaranteed performance in two shows
during their first year in the program.

Recreational Hip Hop

I was a hip-hop teacher for an after school recreational program of children ages 10-12. I
taught basic hip-hop steps throughout the fall 2017 semester and also choreographed and
taught a piece for their Christmas show.

Assistant Ballet/Tap Teacher


Encore Performing Arts Center, Chesterfield VA
I was an assistant teacher for a 3-5 year old combined ballet/tap class. I helped keep the
kids on task while the other teacher taught class and I helped break down steps when
needed. I also assisted them in their recital performance.
