CBIR Based Diagnosis of Diabetic Retinopathy August 2017 – March 2017

 Resized varied fundus eye images to a common size.

 Used Median filtering to remove any noise present and Histogram Equalization to achieve better
contrast in images.
 Calculated different properties of individual images like area(A), perimeter(P) and circularity(C),
in order to separate them into artifact and optic disk; used extracted mask to limit to exudates.
 Validated exudates by using feature vector components and updated feature vector table.
 Used similarity matching techniques like Euclidean Distance Metric and K-min Clustering to
analyze performance and classified them into degrees from 0-3 level of diabetes.
