I already change the fingerprint of a DUW without formatting.

These were the steps:

DUW

1. Go to /c/node_id/ on the nodes

2. Remove the files (N.B. not all files may exist!):

bpNodeId.txt
node_identity.txt
genNodeId.txt

RUW

lhsh 000100/port_0_dev_5 nodeid delete

lhsh 000100/port_1_dev_6 nodeid delete
lhsh 000100/port_2_dev_7 nodeid delete

Restart Node.

That worked out very well for me. I hope this will help

Regarding nodeid reset of more than one RU for one DUW,

the following command is easy to use before restart.

"lh ru nodeid delete"
