French I : Family Tree

1. Task: You will create and present a family tree, all in French. You may use your
own family, the family of someone famous, or an imaginary family.

2. Family Tree includes the following:

Minimum of 8 family members, including yourself
Photo or picture or sketch to represent each person
Description of each person (in French), written in complete sentences, which
include:
i. Name iv. Personality
ii. Relationship to you v. 1 extra fact
iii. Age

***Required French content: family vocab, avoir, etre, -er verbs,

possessive adjectives, and adjective agreement
3. Oral Presentation
Approximately 1-2 minutes
In front of class
Not memorized but without notes
Album/Power Point/Video serves as visual aid
Choose any 6 people on the poster to present, including yourself
Demonstrate mastery of French by saying as much in French as you can

4. Album/Scrap Book/Power Point/Video:

Well-organized display, easy to see from the back of the room
Neat, clear, bold lettering
