Product

Coconut tea is a caffeinated herbal beverage that mixes coconut flakes and milk

into green or black tea, creating an exceptional combination of powerful active

ingredients and delectable flavors. Although this beverage is relatively new to the city of

Koronadal, it has been prepared for generations in tropical regions where coconut

commonly grow. While this is traditionally brewed as a hot tea, you can also create iced

tea and bubble tea with coconut as the primary flavor and nutritional element. Coconut

is rich in saturated fats including high levels of lauric acid, as well as magnesium, iron,

vitamin C, potassium, and fiber. Green and black tea are rich in polyphenolic compound

and other active ingredients that provide a wide range of health benefits. When you

In the Philippines the coconut is very marketable in the market, it produces a

multi-product such as oil, furniture, and food products, however in the food products

coconut tea is not yet recognize especially in Koronadal, South Cotabato but there are

some manufacturers that already producing this kind of product like the Andy Albao

Corporation, their product is a Coconut ginger tea used as hot or cold tea 100% natural,

sugar free with coconut nectar.

Coconut tea may be will have a moderate demand in the market. Due to its newly

produce product or new to the people here in the South Cotabato it will not be very

competitive in the market but according to CAcafe’s coconut coffee and tea series is so

innovative they adds up more flavor such as mocha and cocoa and all of it is real,

according to them the natural flavor will appear if it will add some other flavor.

Andy Albao Corporation a farmer, manufacturer and exporter of coconut and

cacao superfood and functional food had already supplying the coconut tea in some

part of Luzon and it’s indeed that their coconut tea namely Coconut ginger tea is very

marketable, beside of that they have some more innovative products such as drinking

water, oil and sugar that made from coconut and cacao. Therefore producing a coconut

tea in Koronadal, South Cotabato will be possibly increase its demand and supply by

innovating its flavors.
