This document provides instructions for a choice board assignment on graphing trigonometric functions involving sine and cosine. Students are to graph various functions over specified domains in order to identify periods, amplitudes, and other characteristics. They must show work and follow formatting guidelines for grading. The choice board is divided into 5 sections to be completed over multiple class periods and as homework.

1. Work left to right as the arrow shows above! 2. Sections 1-5 on the choice board will be assigned in class over 5 class periods and will be finished as homework. 3. Take note that each column states “Choose 2 out of 4” or “Choose 1 out of 2.” You must follow the instructions and complete the minimum number of boxes in each column. You may do all of the assignments if you would like extra practice.
Grading
1. Highlight the boxes of the choice board you complete.
2. For full credit you must: a. Write out the original problem. b. Complete graphs with: i. accurate points ii. Axes scaled (5 tick marks on the x-axis and 2 tick marks on the y-axis) iii. Smooth curves c. All work must be shown when performing calculations to find: i. Phase shift ii. The coefficient of x 3. Partial credit may be given for correct work. 4. If you have questions, do not hesitate to ask! Section 1: Complete 1 out Section 2: Complete 1 out Complete 2 of 4 Complete 2 out of 4 Complete 2 out of 4 of 2 of 2
