Reinforcement Detail for BRI-04 Bored Piles

having initial length of 8000mm and rest of the length should be the balance of the height of
the pier. But according to the detail shown in sheet no 10 of same drawing height of P 17,
P18, and P19 piers are Hl-16814mm and H2-16649mm, H1-1 7058 and H2-16893mm, and
H1-16292 H2-16127mm respectively.

According to above detail if height of the pier is higher than 15990mm lapping bar of set B
is having a length of 12000mm where more than this height we should provide additional
lapping bar to get the required height of the pile. Therefore we are proposing 12000mm
initial reinforcement to reduce the occurrence of lapping along the pier as shown in the
below figure.
