Fall Fellowship Opportunities at Churches in our District


New Albany UMC 4th and Mill, New Albany, KS will have their chicken noodle supper with all the fixings and
sides October 17th from 5:30pm to ??. Take outs available.

Severy UMC 104 N Greenwood, Severy, KS Annual Turkey Supper and Auction will be October 20th from
5p,-
5p,-7pm. The auction will follow supper.

Baxter Springs UMC 1310 East Ave, Baxter Springs, KS will have their annual Pig Roast on October 27th
from 4pm-
4pm-7pm.
7pm Dinner includes portions of smoked pork and ham, French bread, baked beans, potato
salad, dessert and drink. Adults $10 Children 5-12 $6 and 4 and under is free.

Stark UMC will be having their Annual Fall Festival October 27th 6pm Chili Cook-Off and Pie Baking contest.
(Bring chili and pie and join the fun). Best Costume Competition (Non-scary) Children and Adults.

Parsons Wesley UMC 500 Leawood Dr, Parsons, KS will be having a Halloween party and costume contest
on Sunday, October 28th. The costume contest will begin at 5:30pm with a free dinner at 6pm. Followed
by games, cake walk and other activities. They will once again be having their Trunk or Treat on October
31st from 6pm to 7:30pm.

Thayer UMC 203 Okmulgee St, Thayer, KS will have their annual Turkey Dinner & Bazaar on Saturday, No-
vember 3rd. Opens at 4:00pm. Turkey & Ham dinner with all the fixins will be served from 5:00pm—
7:00pm. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children 4—10. Children 3 & under eat free. Sponsored by the
Thayer UMW.

Longton UMC Annual Church Supper and Auction will be held November 3rd at the Elk Valley School Multi-
purpose Room in Longton, KS. The meal of chicken loaf, ham, scalloped potatoes, salads, rolls, pies,
cakes, and other desserts will be served at 5:30 P.M. The cost of the meal is $7 for adults and $3 for chil-
dren. The Auction will begin at 7:00 P.M. with beautiful handmade pillowcases, tea towels, large quilts, ba-
by quilts, rugs, craft items and food. Come for an enjoyable evening of good food, fellowship and beautiful
auction items.

and coffee from 8am to 10:30am; Vegetable beef soup, frito chili pie, dessert and drink from 11am to
1pm and 4:30-6:30pm. Adults $6, children 10 and under $3.50. Carry out available. Baked goods,
homemade candy and selection of gifts. Drawing and auction too.

Sedan UMC 302 N Chautauqua, Sedan, KS will have their annual luncheon and bazaar November 16th.
Craft and Bake Sale starts at 10am. Lunch starts at 11am. Menu will be chicken and homemade noo-
dles, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, vegetables, rolls, dessert and drink. Cost will be $8 for adults; children
10 and under $4.
