Gas meter repairs Vickie Moss/Herald-Chronicle

to cost city $5K

Canada geese frolic at the Overbrook City Lake last week. The geese have become a nuisance, with as
many as 90 per day at the lake. City officials suspect the geese may be contributing to the blue-green
algae problem that has plagued the lake all summer and are considering ways to scare them from the
lake. If efforts are unsuccessfull, they may organize a hunt and kill many of them.
