Responsibilities for each practicum included teaching, the creation of unique assessments
and content, planning unique lessons that correspond to the Alberta Program of Studies,
marking assignments, accommodating for students with exceptionalities, implementing
classroom management etc.

Teaching Language Arts, Art, and gym at Blackie School for grade 2/3
Professional Semester II
Teaching ELA 10-1, ELA 10-2, and a class of only ELL students comprised of Syrian refugees
at Winston Churchill High School
Professional Semester III
Teaching ELA 20-1, ELA 20-2 and helped facilitate Link Crew and the Gay Straight Alliance
club at Henry Wise Wood High School.
Grammar Instructor Mount Royal University - Calgary, AB - January 2015 to April 2015
Responsibilities include teaching lessons to university students, improving lesson plans,
applying thorough knowledge of English grammar, confidently speaking in front of a
group of peers, explaining concepts in an accessible way etc.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

practicums through the University of Lethbridge. Graduated from Mount Royal University with
basic Spanish. Has completed a course on Microsoft applications through Bow Valley college.
