How to Submit Lab Reports:

1- Create a folder on your desktop /or in "my documents"/flash.

Name your folder: PHYSICS-You can save all of your work in


this folder.

2- Click on the “Labs & Activities” Button on Blackboard to see


the Lab assignments.

3-Click on the title and then click on the attached document for
the assignment. Save it as a Word document (with an
extension".doc" for Microsoft Word 2003 or extension".docx"
for Microsoft Word 2007.) This should be saved in your
PHYSICS folder.

Save it in its folder as: your name, the title of the


assignments, and date (you must follow the order)

Example: Maria Gomez, Newton's Second Law Lab,


06/07/14. Save it in the Labs folder

4- Click on the saved assignment to open and complete the


assignment.

5- Save your completed assignment and submit it to its


own folder. . (Do not forget to save your work; otherwise, you
will end up attaching a blank assignment.)

Submitting the Report

a) Open the lab folder; this is where you opened the Lab
assignment for the first time.

b) Then click on "Browse My Computer" located below the


empty box .

c) Click on your saved Lab Report. Click: Open. Then click:


Submit.
How to Submit Assignments on Blackboard
Step-by-step instructions for how to submit assignments
such as lab reports, project reports, problems, and
miscellaneous documents:

♥Create a folder for this class on your computer/jump drive:

♥Create subfolders and call them "Labs," “Projects,”


“Problems,” etc..

♥Go to the “Assignments” folder on Blackboard – Click on “


Assignments” tab, click on the category such as “Labs” , Click
on the title of the assignment.

♥Click on the attached file to open the document (file).

♥Type your name( All names if you work in a group) on top of


the assignment

♥Save the file as a word document (with an extension".doc" for


Microsoft 2003 or extension" docx" for Microsoft word 2007.)

♥Save it as: your name(s), the title of the Lab assignments,


and date (you must follow the order)

Example: Maria Gomez- Lab- Metric system - 01/17/14

♥Clickon the saved assignment to open and complete the


assignment.

♥Save your completed lab document (file) and submit it to its


own folder. (Do not forget to save your work; otherwise you will
end up attaching a blank assignment.)

How to Submit These Documents

♥Open the corresponding folder; this is where you opened the


lab document (file) for first time.

♥Click on the title of the lab (in color)-

♥Click
"Browse my computer" to locate your file in the
computer/jumpdrive.

♥Click: on the file. Click: open.


♥Click On "Submit" Button.

♥ A yellowish exclamation mark(!) in the grade book


indicates that you have submitted the completed lab document
successfully.

♥If
you have difficulty using Microsoft Office, you can work on
your first assignments in any computer center/lab on the VV
campus or come to my office A1506 at VV campus or Call 915-
831 6440 and ask to contact you to distance education . We
can help you to work on your assignment until you feel
confident to work individually.
