Before I came to Saint John to study at NBCC, I have spent 3 months to research the colleges and
universities in Canada. Most of international students have chosen to study at Colleges located on big
cities like Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary. But for me I decided to live and learn in Saint John due to
serveral reasons. Firstly, Saint John is located near ocean and sea, that’s why the weather is warmer than
the other places in Canada. Secondly, the percentage of NBCC graduates that were employed is high (91%
of 2015 grads) while the tuition fee is affordable for everyone. Finally, I have chose Saint John and NBCC
because I have seen my chance here, because the numbers of international student is low that means I
have less competitors unlike big cities, and maybe I have an opportunity to show off my skills in future.

I need this scholarship because the living cost in Canada is so higher than Vietnam. It will help me to cover
the cost of housing and serveral things at the the first period of settling down here Saint John.

Saint John City is very beautiful with forests and the Fundy bay. I am going to living here after I graduate
NBCC. I will participate in mechanical and manufacturing field at Saint John. Also I want to be a vonlunteer
in social works to help others in future. If I have a chance to be a Saint John citizen, that will be the best
thing to me
