I am graduating in Elementary and Special Education at Seton Hill University in Greensburg,

Pennsylvania. I will move back home and am excited to learn of a teaching position in the Windsor
School District. I read about your position for a new Kindergarten teacher at Floyd L. Bell Elementary
with interest. My experience aligns with the qualifications which you are seeking. I am certain that I
would make a valuable addition to your school district and change your students’ lives.

After reading more about your mission and vision, I believe that I was made for this job. In my
Philosophy of Education, I state how it is important for students to be challenged while learning respect
for one another, themselves, and their community. It is a priority of mine to ensure that all students will
be treated with dignity and respect. I also state that in order for students to be successful, they must
learn how to become independent learners and successful citizens. This does not only rely on
students learning from their parents/guardians and their community but their teachers as well.
